Dear Yak,
I used to enjoy Christmas shopping for my grandkids. But not anymore. It’s become far too ridiculous and PC.
I mean, back in my day it was easy to tell if a toy was for girls or boys. It was either pink or blue or was simple and traditional, like a doll’s house or a fire truck. The way things were meant to be. There was no guesswork involved.
But these days it’s very confusing. There are rainbow coloured toys, “gender neutral” toys, and all kinds of nonsense like that. Only yesterday I saw a construction set with a girl on the box! Now what kind of message is that sending to the young ladies of the future? And don’t get me started on the boys!
How am I supposed to buy appropriate gifts with all this social engineering going on in the toy department? It’s such a PC nightmare! What can I do?
Yours sincerely,
Gender Agenda
Dear Gender Agenda,
It’s actually not really that difficult. When considering a particular toy, ask yourself this question: Is the toy designed to be operated with the person’s genitalia?
If the answer is “no” then the toy is suitable for either girls or boys.
If the answer is “yes” then the toy is not suitable for children at all, and you’re probably in the wrong kind of shop.
You filthy pervert.
With kind regards,
The Yak
