Help! Next week I’m finally proposing to my girlfriend. And I’m really nervous about it. Not because I’m scared she’ll say no. But because, well… it’s one of life’s most significant, precious and sincere moments – right up there with losing your virginity and getting your first iPhone. What if I stuff it up?
Yak, you’re so wise and always so good with people and a great communicator. Got any advice for me?
Not Very Good At This Kind Of Thing
You flatter me… but, yes, I’m very wise, extremely good with people and a great communicator. And I’m glad that someone other than myself has finally pointed that out publicly.
But back to your impending moment. Yes, the stakes are pretty high here. So my advice to you would be that it’s all about capturing the right mood. And the right words. There’s nothing worse than when life’s most significant, precious and sincere moments are totally ruined by Autocorrect.
Hope this helps.
With kind regards,
