I’m really stressed at the moment with people at work. The woman next to me is always whining about her crappy relationship. Meanwhile the guy at the desk behind me tells long boring stories that he thinks are funny. And the IT support bloke likes to make me feel stupid whenever he “fixes” my computer.
What can I do to stop myself from slapping someone very soon?

Dear Calm Before the Storm,
Simple. I’d suggest a nice hot cup of tea. Maybe chamomile or fennel and ginger. With a squeeze of lemon. Then spill it in the lap of whoever’s bugging you. I find this always makes me feel better.
